The Sarih Jacket

This one of a kind Sarih jacket gives every outfit a boost. She has a loose oversized fit, 3/4 sleeves and is reversible; you can wear the jacket on both sides (see images for both sides). 

The Sarih jacket is made of upcycled & hand embroidered cotton Sari's previously owned by women from different regions in India. Several layers of vintage Sari fabrics are placed on top of each other and stitched together by hand with a traditional all over running stitch called kantha. This makes every jacket unique. 

Since we re-use already existing fabrics to create the Sarih jackets, small imperfections belong. The upcycled fabrics have already lived, are holding a spirit from the past and are waiting for a new story to be told.
